Hi, I’m Liza, a passionate, ethical, and professional counsellor committed to helping people navigate life’s challenges with authenticity, compassion and care. But there's more to me than my counselling practice. I'm also a sailor with a deep love for travel, exploration, and adventure.
Whether I’m sailing the Irish Sea or travelling to discover hidden gems, I embrace life with curiosity and joy. I believe in finding meaning in the small things, laughing often, and living authentically. At heart, I’m a free spirit and I bring that same spirit of openness, compassion and honesty to every counselling session.

How much does counselling cost?
Online counselling sessions are £50 per 50-minute session. Face to face sessions in Stockport are £60 per 50-minute session. Online sessions are bookable online and face to face by contacting me directly.
Do you offer online, or in person counselling?
Yes, I offer both. Online counselling is conducted via secure Google Meet video calls, allowing you to access therapy from anywhere in the UK or Europe. Face-to-face sessions are held in comfortable counselling rooms in Great Moor, Stockport.
What can I expect in my first counselling session?
In your first session, we'll review the counselling contract together, which outlines what to expect and gives you a chance to ask questions. I'll ask about what brought you to counselling, the important people in your life, and your goals for our sessions. You're in control of what you share and the pace we take.
What are Liza's qualifications?
I'm an Accredited Registrant Member of the NCPS (MNCPS Acc.) and a Registered Member of the BACP (MBACP). I hold Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and a Diploma of Higher Education in Psychology from the Open University. I am passionate about ongoing professional development.
